On August 16th and 17th, 2024, the Kenya Global Space Education Summit brought together over 400 enthusiastic participants at the University of Nairobi for an inspiring and educational journey into the world of aerospace. Virtual Talks with Renowned Astronauts: Students were captivated by virtual presentations from two esteemed astronauts, including the first African woman to travel to space. These talks provided invaluable insights into the realities of space exploration, personal journeys of overcoming challenges, and the exciting possibilities that the future holds in the aerospace sector. ThinkTank Challenge: Participants took part a Think Tank challenge that promoted critical thinking and problem-solving skills relevant to the aerospace sector and 4 SDGs. These sessions provided hands-on experience and practical knowledge, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.
