The Drone Technology & Flight Systems Track introduces learners to the cutting-edge world of aerial robotics, drone engineering, and flight technology.
Students gain hands-on experience with drone assembly, programming, and piloting, while exploring how drones can solve real-world problems in agriculture, logistics, environmental monitoring, and disaster response.
Whether students want to fly for fun, build drones for competitions, or develop career-ready STEM and aerospace skills, this track empowers them to engineer, innovate, and fly responsibly.
What You’ll Learn
- Principles of drone flight, aerodynamics, and flight safety
• Assembling and calibrating drones for multiple functions
• Coding drones for autonomous flight missions
• Understanding sensors, GPS, and onboard camera systems

Students explore both virtual simulators and real-flight labs for a safe, skill-building experience.
Progression Pathway
Beginner: Learn drone basics, flight control, and block-based coding for short autonomous flights.
Intermediate: Integrate sensors, cameras, and GPS to execute semi-autonomous missions.
Advanced: Build custom drone prototypes, design AI-driven missions, and participate in STEMlens Drone Challenges or international drone competitions.
