Robofest Kenya 2025
Robofest Kenya is part of the globally recognized Robofest competition, designed to inspire, challenge, and celebrate the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) skills of students through the exciting world of robotics.
Whether you’re a budding innovator or an experienced robotics enthusiast, this competition offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while competing for top honors.

Categories
Teams can participate in the following categories:
- Game Competition
- Solve challenges autonomously, including unknown tasks unveiled on the day of the competition.
- Encourages creativity, programming, and real-time problem-solving.
- Exhibition
- Showcase any type of robotics project. Robots can dance, create art, perform tasks, or even play music.
- A great platform for innovation and demonstrating unique ideas.
- BottleSumo
- Compete in head-to-head matches to push a bottle off the table while avoiding falling.
- A test of precision, power, and strategy!
Age Divisions
- Junior Category: Grade 5 to Grade 8
- Senior Category: Grade 9 to Grade 12
Team Details
- Team Size: Maximum of 5 members per team
- Registration Fee: Ksh 30,000 per team

Competition Highlights

- Teams are encouraged to use their preferred robotics kits, programming languages, and materials to construct their robots.
Next Steps
- Teams that qualify will advance to the World Robofest Championship in May, joining competitors from around the globe to showcase their skills on an international stage.
